This week we want to highlight a community service project
the Wells Group will be hosting. Our upcoming theater party will not only
feature two movies, but the proceeds will benefit The Family Center and
Volunteers of America.
On Saturday, September 20 at 8 am, come to the Allen Theater
at the Durango Mall to watch “The Maze Runner” or ”Dolphin Tail 2.” The movies
will run from approximately 8:30-10:30. Guests will receive a $5 concession
coupon for bringing warm children’s clothing as a
donation.
The Family Center seeks to connect and aid families, and has
a local presence in Durango. From parenting support to health support, they aid
families in the region. The vast
resources available make it an awesome organization to support. The Volunteers
of America seek to assist America’s most vulnerable, including at-risk youth,
the elderly, and homeless. Both of these organizations impact the community, so
it’s a great way to support others while also enjoying a family outing.
